Hi, I’m Cindy Penrod, the founder and heart behind Lily and Key. What began as a small side hustle has grown into something much more meaningful, becoming a space where I help small business owners reclaim their time, find clarity, and breathe a little easier in the midst of their

My passion for this work started early. As the first-born child of immigrant parents, I watched them pour everything into their small businesses in pursuit of the American Dream. I grew up helping with invoices, bookkeeping, social media management, contract writing, business operations support, and various administrative tasks long before I fully understood what it all meant. What I did understand was their dedication and resilience.
That experience shaped me. It’s why I care so deeply about helping others do what they love without feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to take some of that weight off your shoulders so you can move forward with more clarity, more confidence, and less burnout. Lily and Key is more than just a business, it’s personal. The name is inspired by my grandmother, Lily, who embodied strength, growth, and unwavering dedication. This work is a reflection of her, and of the values she passed down to me.
